Upgrade Your Nokia E63 To A Nokia C5

upgrade-your-nokia-e63-to-a-nokia-c5The Nokia E63 is an impressive affordable handset that’s ideal for business use, but if you’ve had yours for a little while now the Nokia C5 could be the perfect upgrade. Packed with features, and offering excellent build quality, the Nokia C5 is a great handset for consumers and business users alike. Read on to find out more…

One of the things we like about the Nokia C5 is its build quality. Made from stainless steel, it belies its entry-level price point, and puts the plastic casing on the Nokia E63 to shame. It’s also a lot more compact than the Nokia E63, featuring a traditional alpha-numeric keypad rather than the QWERTY option found on the older handset.

The keyboard itself is excellent, and despite the small form factor of the Nokia C5, all of the keys are large and comfortable to use. Being individually mounted, the keys are responsive and ideal for longer text messages or emails. Sure, it’s not quite as ideally suited to longer emails as the QWERTY keypad on the Nokia E63, but it’s a good trade off between size and usability.

The screen on the Nokia C5 is the same 2.2-inch unit found on the Nokia C3, but fitted in a portrait orientation rather than landscape. That means you’ll find the same sharp 240 x 320-pixel resolution, and there’s more than enough space for viewing your emails.

Both of these handsets are fully fledged smartphones, running Symbian S60 3rd Edition. As such, you’ll have easy access to features such as Nokia Messaging, and you’ll also be able to download the latest apps for the Nokia C5 using the Ovi Store. The homescreen is set up to take full advantage of this, with one click access to emails and also to your favourite applications.

At 3.2-Megapixels, the Nokia C5’s camera is a useful upgrade over the 2-Megapixel sensor found in the Nokia E63, and other impressive features include 3G and Bluetooth, offering fast web browsing and wireless connections to other digital devices, respectively.
