If you’re anything like us, you’ll have accumulated hundreds of text messages in the past few months. While it’s easy to delete one message at a time, you may be wondering how to delete all of them in one go. Thankfully, this is also a simple task. Join us after the break to find out how to delete all or several of your text messages on your Nokia N8…
Once you get hundreds – or even thousands – of text messages on your Nokia N8, you may start to notice your handset slow down a little. Deleting your messages is one option – even if it’s only those from the Sent folder that you no longer need.
Click on Menu, followed by Messaging, and then click on either Inbox or Sent, depending on which messages you want to delete. Then click on Options, Mark/Unmark, and click Mark All to tick all of your text messages.
If you want to unmark a message, so this one isn’t deleted, tap on it and hold, and then select Unmark when the menu pops up. Once the messages are marked, you’ll see a little tick appear next to the message.
To delete, simply tap on Options and Delete. Click Yes when asked whether you want to proceed, and your old messages will be deleted.
