We’ve established that the Nokia Lumia 710 is a worthy alternative to its big brother, the Nokia Lumia 800. But how does the phone look next to other handsets running on the Windows Phone operating system? We thought we’d take the similarly specced LG Optimus 7 and snap it alongside the new Lumia 710.
While the Nokia Lumia 710 is a second generation Windows Phone device aimed at the more affordable end of the market, the LG Optimus 7 is a first generation Windows Phone device that was among the best-specced at the time of its release. This means there’s some cross-over in their capabilities.
The two phones have similarly sized LCD screens – the LG Optimus 7’s is just 0.1 of a millimeter bigger, but lacks the Nokia Lumia 710’s ClearBlack technology (which makes them look very different even when powered off). Both phones have 5-megapixel cameras too, and of course they both run on the very latest version of Windows Phone.
Naturally the Nokia Lumia 710 pulls out a healthy leads thanks to its faster processor, exclusive Nokia software and a much lighter body, but we’re not really here to for a spec war. Rather, we’re here to see how the Nokia Lumia 710’s design compares to ordinary Windows Phone devices.
