We like Nokia Trailers, it’s a great free app for Window Phone that allows you to stream the latest movie trailers. The Hobbit has just hit our Nokia Lumia 800 and as it’s one of the most anticipated movies of the year we thought we’d best check it out.
Nokia Trailers is an exclusive app for Nokia Lumia owners, there is also a Symbian version for anyone rocking the Nokia N8 or Nokia 808 PureView, for example. You can download Nokia Trailers for Symbian from the Nokia Store. If you’re looking to download it for your Nokia Lumia smartphone simply head to the Nokia Collection as part of the Marketplace ont he device itself.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, also known as The Hobbit Part I will be hitting cinemas on the 14th December 2012 and is sure to be the must-see movie this Christmas.
The story centres around a curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins played by Martin Freeman, who journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a rather disfunctional group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the most evil of dragon’s, Smaug.
Fans of the Lord of the Rings trilogy will be happy to know that many of the stars of those films back an appearance, including Sir Ian McKellan as Gandalf, Andy Serkis as Gollum and Ian Holm as the original, older, Bilbo!
As you can see from these screenshots of the The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on our Nokia Lumia 800 it’s the full revised trailer and you can download it for repeated viewing or simply use Nokia Trailers to stream the video.
With the launch of The Hobbit being still quite a way away one thing that really brings Nokia Trailer to life is the ability to set the Release Reminder and even the Cinema Finder where you’ll want to watch the movie.
Add reminder is great as you can be reminded the movie is coming out on the day of the premiere, in this case the 14th December, or up to two weeks before so you can start thinking about where you want to watch The Hobbit, or any other future release for that matter!
Are you a big fan of Nokia Trailers? What movies are you looking forward to seeing?
