The Apple iPhone 5 has gone on sale today and while we have to wait a little while longer for the Nokia Lumia 920, comparing the two smartphones seems to have become something of an obsession of late.
You only have to take one look at the Nokia Lumia 920 and Apple iPhone 5 to see that both companies have started from a similar point – take a classic and trusted design and build out from there.
The Apple iPhone 5 has a 4-inch display, moving up from the 3.5-inch version of the 4S. The display is an IPS LCD Retina and its resolution is 1136 x 640 pixels with a pixel density of 326 pixels-per-inch (ppi).
By comparison, the Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch display, moving up from the 3.7-inch version of the Lumia 800. The display is an IPS display and its resolution is 1280 x 768 pixels with a pixel density of 332ppi.
However, if you’re curious as to how the two devices stack up in terms of tech spec, innovation and features, as well as looks and style, then this pretty neat infographic has been put together that spells it out. After all, they say that a picture and say a thousand words:
